pokkakenni™ purse organizer

Now for some exciting stuff.

I've decided to take the plunge and market one of my hand-made goods. A purse organizer. Here are some pictures.

It's basically a row of pockets to hold things you usually put in your handbag... in an organized and easy-to-reach way.

With the purse organizer, you'll never have to dig deep inside your handbag to find your wallet or that ever elusive handphone again. That's because each one of them is conveniently stored in their own separate pockets.

But that's not all. The purse organizer is also perfect for us ladies who just love switching handbags, cause it lets us grab everything in one go and move it from one bag to another. That way, you won't leave anything behind. Pretty cool, huh?

The purse organizer is 5" tall and 20" long, with five pockets, big and small. It fits a handbag of at least 9" opening and 6" deep. It's practical and lightweight too.

Price is S$25 each. But since it's almost Christmas, I've decided to give it away at a special price, all in the spirit of giving and merry-making. So if you place your order from now until 30 Nov 2007, the purse organizer can be yours for just S$20.

You can choose to get it posted right to your doorstep anywhere in Singapore for an additional S$3, or meet me at a central location (eg. City Hall MRT) to collect it. If you're outside Singapore, do write to me and we'll work something out. I'm making it upon order, so please allow 2 days before it's ready for posting or collecting. I can also customize the size of each pocket to fit your favourite items, as long as they add up to 20".

I got it!

I finally have a digital SLR camera. I haven't bought the lens my friend recommended yet, I thought I'd play around with my current lens first and get it after I'm more familiar with the camera.
I promised to show her the first picture I took and here it is.

It's my daughter's hat. Nothing special about the hat, I just wanted to make sure that sexy little gadget really was an SLR. Looks can be deceiving sometimes, you know? But well, it is the real thang. See how the curtain at the back is blurred? That's the same effect you get when you look at it with one eye, hence the name 'single-lens' reflex, aka SLR. That's about the only thing I know about my camera right now. But it's all gonna change. I've signed up for the free basic camera training it comes with, and after taking a few pictures, I'm getting the hang of it... more or less... just don't ask me what f-stop means.

The second picture I took was of, naturally, the owner of the hat.

Extremely overexposed, blurry and badly composed, but I love that expression. Although, anything that isn't a frown or an angry look from a terribletwoyearold is greatly appreciated.

What do you think?

I'm getting an SLR!

I've finally decided to get a digital SLR. I've been entertaining this thought for ages and I now have the courage to act on it, thanks to a current promotion for which I can get the camera for less than $1000. A dear photographer friend of mine recommended the Canon 350d plus 50 1.8 lens and that's exactly what I'm gonna get.

Now off to dearest hubby for the disbursement of funds...

The one of me with nothing to say

......

Yup, I really don't know what to say. There are so many things going through my mind at the moment, my brain is one big gigatic mess of a furball. What should one do when there're so many things to think of, so many things to do but with so little time to do it? I'm sure there's a book on this somewhere, but I'll need time to read it too, which I don't!

So I shall leave you now with a funny little poem I came across on a magazine in Jakarta.

me no worry, me no care
me go marry millionaire
if he die, me no cry
me go marry other guy
